500g ground chicken or turkey
1/4 cup applesauce or apple puree
1/2 cup shredded carrot
1/2 cup chopped spinach
1/4 cup chopped green onion
1 egg
1/2 cup breadcrumbs
1/2 tsp cumin

1. Preheat the oven
Preheat your oven to
200°C. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper,
a silicone mat, or tin foil.
2. Prepare the mixture
In a large bowl,
combine all the ingredients. Gently fold the mixture together
using your hands or a spatula until everything is well
incorporated. Let the mixture sit for 5 minutes.
3. Form the meatballs
Roll the meat mixture
into 2.5 cm (1 inch) balls. Wet your hands
occasionally to prevent sticking during the rolling process.
4. Bake
Place the meatballs onto the
prepared baking sheet. Bake in the oven for
15-20 minutes or until the meatballs are cooked
through and gently browned.
